What the strict check can and cannot claim

2026: DBE Circular S19 of 2025 retains the 2023/2024 ATPs, including revised SBA/examination weightings and assessment requirements, subject to its exclusions. The checker therefore treats the current ATP as the controlling subject-specific assessment layer and the National Protocol as the recording/reporting layer.

2027: the checker will not claim full current-year subject compliance until an applicable DBE 2027 circular/ATP source is verified. It can still check National Protocol record-sheet requirements, but policy uncertainty remains free and never creates a repair charge.

Final marks, moderation decisions and school sign-off remain with the responsible educator and school.
