Assessment readiness check
Review curriculum evidence, cognitive balance, marks, clarity, fairness, question quality and memo alignment. Missing evidence is flagged rather than invented.
South Africa · CAPS teacher workflow
Start with a free assessment and memo readiness screen. If it finds problems—or you simply want to save the time—send the same work into a fixed-price Modern Schoolhouse teacher task. No subscription or prompt engineering.
Work smarter
Modern Schoolhouse does not charge teachers merely to chat with AI. The free tool tells you what needs attention. The paid task is the finished piece of work.

FROM R49 · ONCE-OFF
Choose Assessment Fix, HOD Moderation Pack, Marking & Consistency Check or the Full Assessment Cycle. Submit the source material once and continue through a private fixed-scope order.
The assessment cycle
1 · CHECK
Run the free diagnostic before the assessment is used or submitted to the HOD.
2 · FINISH
Fix the paper, prepare the HOD pack, review marking consistency or complete the bounded assessment cycle.
3 · SIGN OFF
The teacher or HOD reviews the output and remains responsible for final marks, moderation decisions and school sign-off.
Professional boundary
Assessment requirements vary by phase, subject and task type. Modern Schoolhouse uses the context and evidence supplied and is designed to flag uncertainty rather than invent a universal rule. It is independent of the DBE and Umalusi and does not replace formal school moderation.
Frequently asked questions

No. The launch model is free diagnostic plus fixed-price completion tasks. A subscription will only be considered if repeat usage proves it would genuinely save teachers money.
